Mr. Morrison served in the United States Army and later retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber with over 30 years service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Morrison; parents, George and Estelle Morrison; and brother, George Earl Morrison Jr.
He is survived by his children, Kelley Doyle, Kraig (Lesli) Morrison and Gary Morrison; grandchildren, Nicholas Doyle, Abby Claire Morrison and Bryer Morrison; sisters, Hazel Morrison, Helen Hanson, Jerri Howard, Tommie Bailey, Johnnie Ruth Morrison and JoAnne (Ronnie) Thomas; brother, Randall Morrison; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Northeast Alabama Kidney Foundation, P.O. Box 264, Gadsden, AL 35902-0264.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
