Bobby Bruce Doss, 72, of Altavista died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Gretna Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Emma Doss.
He was born April 21, 1945 in Gretna, a son of the late Bruce Doss and Effie Worley Doss.
He is survived by two sons, Jarrett Doss and his wife Crystal and Brian Doss all of Altavista; a sister, Ella Pickrel of Gretna; four grandchildren, Skylar, Coleman, Hailey and Jacob Doss.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard "Ricky" Doss; a sister, Wynonia Preston; and a brother, Irvin Doss.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2017 at Finch and Finch Chapel, Altavista by the Rev. Stephen Rabon with interment to follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Jarrett and Crystal Doss, 903 Bedford Avenue, Altavista.
