Harold William Reid 3 February 1919 - 5 April 1945

Son of James Everard Reid and Gladys Olive (Glover) Reid.

Brother of James Ernest Reid, Ruth Moser, and David Malcolm Reid.


Member of the 626 Squadron, RAF (RCAF).


Harold was the pilot of Lancaster 'PB411 UM-Y2' on an operational sortie to Lutzendorf, Germany on the night of 4/5 April, 1945. The bodies of Harold and his six crew members were recovered and buried at the British War Cemetery in Berlin in 1951.
