Emily Kay Wood, 55, beloved daughter of John and Margie Sizemore, passed away peacefully in the "Little House" on July 15, 2012. She was born on April 14, 1957. Emily was preceded by her infant daughter, Amy Celeste Wood. She is survived by her parents, daughter, Mrs. Nick Fisher (Kimberly), brother, Dan Sizemore, three grand-children and one step-grandchild. Her memorial service will be at Colonial Baptist Church Saturday, July 28, at 11 a.m. Emily donated her body to medical science at U.T. Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology. She grew up in Colonial Baptist Church and became a Christian at an early age. A few years ago she joined Cherokee Baptist Church where her daughter's family was attending at the time. She had a big heart and a zest for life. Emily loved her family, relatives, and friends and would do anything she could to help them. She will be greatly missed. Emily took good care of her dog, "Buddy" and was keeping "Snoop" dog for her grandchildren temporarily. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church Health Center at 1210 Peabody Ave. Memphis, TN 38104.
