After graduation he worked for various companies such as Delaware Home and Hospital, Hanover Foods, Roos Foods, Mamie Warren Senior Center and Kraft Foods. "Trey," as he was affectionately known, was always known for having at least two jobs. Tracy moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania approximately 10 years ago. He worked at various companies there and attended church faithfully.
For five years he attended Greater Faith Baptist Church in Philadelphia under the pastorship of Rev. Larry Marcus. On June 8, 2014, Tracy joined Greater Faith and on June 22, 2014, he was baptized. Tracy loved to sing on the male choir and he attended bible study and Sunday School.
Tracy touched many people with his kind and gently spirit. As soon as he entered the room, you would see his affectionate smile and deep dimples. You knew Trey was here when you heard his infamous boisterous laugh. He was loved by all he came in contact with.
Tracy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Marshall Wilson Sr. and his paternal great grandmother Georgeanna Gillis. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his mother and stepfather Sherry and Joseph Glasco, biological father Ellsworth Roberts, 2 sisters Nina Ashford (Ace) and Tia Reed, his brother Leeaire Brown (Tara), his maternal grandmother Alpaine Wilson, paternal grandmother Dorothy Roberts, 2 nieces LaShelle Harris and Bria Gaines, 4 maternal aunts Delphaine, Peachie (Donald), Yea (Terry) and Faith (Jeff), 2 uncles Butchie and Kevin, 2 lifelong friends, Russell "Skut" Wisher and Bruce Gaines, and a host of relatives and friends.
Viewing will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Centennial U.M. Church, 44 E MT. Vernon St., Smyrna. Celebration of Life will follow the viewing.
Interment will be held at Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
