Celebration of life services for Clinton “Clint “ Ray Stephens, 59, of Big Sandy will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Pastor Jeff Eckeberger officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. Clint passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in Big Sandy.

Clint was born May 2, 1958 in Grand Prairie, Texas, to Doyal Ray Stephens and Myrtis Ann Schultz Stephens. Clint was a devout Christian and member of the Crossroads Fellowship Church in Big Sandy. As a young man, Clint was a very good athlete and especially excelled playing football. He was considered a “Jack of all Trades” and could fix anything. Clint was very tender hearted and always willing to help those in need. He was also very witty and had a great sense of humor. Clint will be remembered for being a great older brother always protecting his siblings and taking up for them. Among other talents, Clint was an accomplished drummer and loved to play the song, “Wipe Out.” Clint was a loving and devoted husband, brother, son, father and grandfather who will be truly missed by all the family and friends he leaves behind.

Clint is survived by his wife Michelle Stephens; daughter Hannah Cherry and husband Robert; sister Kim Berger and husband Leo; two brothers Keith Stephens and wife Rhonda and Randy Stephens and wife Pricilla; three grandchildren Deven Stephens, Stephen Cherry and Jaxen Cherry; three step sons McQuade Quillen and wife Haley, Andrew Quillen and Matthew Quillen and wife Lizzy; numerous nieces, nephews as well as many other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, Clinton Joshua Stephens.
