Rev. James Larry Medlin, 59, husband of Rena Smith Medlin, of 411 Rich Mountain Road, Westminster, passed away, Monday, October 2, 2017, at Self Regional Healthcare.
A native of Walhalla, SC, Rev. Medlin was the son of Gail Hudson Medlin and the late James Claude Medlin. He was a minister and member of Durst Avenue Church of God.
In addition to his wife and mother, Rev. Medlin is survived by his son: Phillip Medlin (Hannah) of Walhalla; daughter: Jennifer Medlin Pettit (Sammy) of Liberty; sister: Vickie Bottoms (Chris) of West Union; and four grandchildren: Noah and J.B. Pettit and Anna Mae and Abbiegail Medlin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 6, 2017, at the Full Gospel Temple with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Davenport Funeral Home.
