Susan White Butler WILLIAMSTON - Mrs. Susan White Butler went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017. Sue was a person who loved family and friends.Sue had a master's degree in Nursing Education from East Carolina University, was a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Vidant Medical Center NICU, and was an RN clinical instructor at Beaufort County Community College and Pitt Community College. Sue loved UNC basketball and football, beautiful Lake Gaston boat rides and sunsets. She was a loving wife, sister and a proud mother and grandmother and aunt.Sue is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rhea Butler of the home; a son, Garland Butler, wife Jamie and their 3 children, Lynnsie, Brooke, and Madison of Farm Life; sister, Ellen Searles, husband Bill of Lake Gaston, and their son Justin of Arlington, VA and sister Kay Bunch, husband Gene, and their 2 sons Robert and Jason also of Lake Gaston; Godson Neil Williams and Great- Godson, Brendon Mobley. She also loved and is survived by her dog Chico Gaston and her horse "Easy Like Sunday Morning". Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Lensie and Crethie White.Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Biggs Funeral Home of Williamston.
