A Celebration of life for Mrs. Sally Taylor, 90 of Decatur, AL will be noon Friday, February 17, 2017 at Bethlehem P.B. Church in Greenbrier, AL with Pastor Joe H. Cater officiating and inhumation to follow in Ragland Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. Public viewing will be Thursday from 10-7 at the Reynolds Funeral Home. Life began for Sally Ann Taylor on May 25, 1926, to the late Addie and Emmit Taylor or Limestone County, AL. She received her wings on February 11, 2017 at Valleyview Nursing Home, Madison, AL. She experienced her Christian journey at Bethlehem P.B. Church in Madison, AL, where she was a faithful member until her health began to fail. Sally was a loving faithful caregiver for many years to her grandchildren and later assisting a firm hand with her great-grandchildren. Sally was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and friend to many. She was preceded in death by both parents; four sisters, Carlene Jackson, Georgianna Taylor, Joyce Shoulders, Hellen Thatch and one brother, Jessie Taylor. She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted son, Eddie Gene Cosby (Mary); two grandchildren, Rosemary Cosby and Ramona Cosby; three great grandchildren, Bryson and Tyson Cosby and Aleah Wesley; one brother, Willie Taylor (Ruth); a devoted brother-in-law, the Rev. John Thatch; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins. During her stay at Valleyview, she gained two very special CNA's, Sheresa Gaiter and Shenita Jackson, her other granddaughter. Pallbearrs will be Nephews and Flower Bearers will be Nieces.
