Johnny Earl Chapman of Hamilton, Texas, owner of Hamilton Pipe Company went to be with the Lord On Oct. 3, 2017, in his home surrounded by his family.

He was born to Earl and Gracie Chapman Dec. 2, 1946 in Spur, Texas. He served in the US Army in Germany.

He married his wife of 43 years, Lana Chapman on Nov. 19, 1974 in Pecos, Texas. He loved God, his family, and church family, his dogs, old cars, and good food and fellowship. His ministry was loving people and preaching the word. His compassion for people was unsurpassable.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Gracie Chapman.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Chapman; children, Connie Hair, Ed Chapman, and wife, Christy Chapman, Tammy Flathouse, Dalonda Chapman, Randall Lyons and wife, Wendy Lyons, Helen Wilson and husband, Dee Wilson; 17 grandkids; 14 great-grandkids and 1 on the way; 2 brothers, Elmer Chapman and wife, Solange Chapman of Brownwood, TX and Cecil Chapman and wife, Florence Chapman of San Angelo, TX; 2 sisters, Wilma Rowell of Midland, TX and Kathy Jacks and husband, Cliff Jacks of Allen, TX; as well as a whole host of nieces and nephews.


Officiating Ceremony: Ronnie Davis and Mike Chance both of Waco, TX; and Jim Baker of Mesquite, TX

Pallbearers: Dee Wilson, Earl Chapman, David Clemmons, Mike Little, Pat Little, and Nathan Radabaugh

Services will be held at Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton, TX Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at 10 AM.
