William Edward "Bill" Crump, 85, Auxvasse, passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia. He was born Jan. 15, 1932 in New Bloomfield, the son of the late Herbert and Mary (Cain) Crump. He graduated from Auxvasse High School in 1950 and he served his country in the United States Naval Aviation during the Korean War. He was first united in marriage to Mary Jane Allensworth. She preceded him in death on Jan. 11, 2015. On Oct. 18, 2015, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Lynne (Humphreys) Foster.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four daughters Cheri Mills and her husband Bruce of Paris, Vicki Dawson and her husband Lawrence "Tinker" of Centralia, Jacki Stelzer and her husband Russell of Centralia, and Patti Lemons and her husband Kirk of Springfield; one son Corey Crump and his wife Heather of Lee's Summit; two step daughters Lynne Smith and her husband Jerry of Auxvasse and Cheryl Morris and her husband Ed of Auxvasse; one step son Brian Jones and his wife Laurel of LaGrange; one brother Don Crump of Mexico; two sisters Darline Ellis of Fulton and Wanda Crump of Mexico; 11 grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and first wife, one brother Bobby Crump, one sister Bonnie Crump and two grandchildren Bruce Mills, III and Jeremy Lemons preceded him in death.

Bill first worked at McDonnell- Douglas in St. Louis, and later worked for A.B. Chance Co. in Centralia for 28 years. He was baptized and a member of the Grand Prairie Baptist Church in Auxvasse. Bill had a life-time passion for anything with motors and wheels. That love led him to establishing Lucky Wheels, Wee Wheels and Javali. He was a Boy Scout Master in Auxvasse and a golf instructor at Arthur Hills Golf Course in Mexico.

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia.
