He was born in Champaign, Ill., on February 13, 1919. Stanley was a farmer and machinist in Illinois until 1962 when he moved his family to Tucson. He then worked for the City of Tucson for 20 years before retiring in 1982.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carrie Percival, and sister, Mary Alice Percival. His survivors include his wife of 62 years, Bernice; brother, William (Bern) of Chicago, Ill; children, Jim Percival of Tucson, Mary Percival of Tucson, and Janice (Bill) Jones of Ontario, Calif.; grandchildren, Tim (Lori) and Peter; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Jeremiah and Tyler.
Services will be on Saturday, May 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Fred Morrison officiating. Remembrances may be made to Odyssey Healthcare or the favorite charity of your choice.
