Betty Jo Hendrix was born October 20, 1929 in Hardeman County, TN, the daughter of the late William Hadden and Mary Ethel Hooper Jordan. She was united in marriage to Lee Hendrix on October 21, 1950. Mr. Hendrix preceded her in death in 1983. She was a homemaker. Betty was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, but was unable to attended due to her health for many years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, her flowers, animals of all kinds. She especially enjoyed birds, dogs, and most of all, loved her family. Betty departed this life on October 4, 2017 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 11 Months, 14 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Terry Hendrix of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Michael Hendrix and wife Rhonda of Nashville, TN; a brother, John Aubrey Jordan of Crockett County, TN; and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Jordan.
