Ellen B. Smith, 84, formerly of Sixth Avenue, Temple, died Nov. 27 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she had resided since 1992.
Her husband, Lester C. Smith, died in 1992.
Born in Rockland Township, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Lizzie (Sterner) Boyer.
She was employed by the Fleetwood Shirt Factory.
She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.
She is survived by a brother, Earl Boyer, Muhlenberg Township. She is also survived by six sisters: Verna (Boyer) Bieber, Temple; Grace (Boyer) Kaiser, Cora (Boyer) Haas and Minerva (Boyer) Gauker, all of Fleetwood; Mabel (Boyer) Bieber, of The Lutheran Home at Topton; and Esta (Boyer) Readinger, Kutztown.
Milkens Funeral Home Inc., Temple, is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
