Richard Allan Daugherty, 56, of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:32 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born Aug. 23, 1961, in Terre Haute, to William Daugherty and Edna Lloyd Daugherty. Survivors include his wife, Robin Evol Daugherty, whom he married on June 6, 2003, in Parke County; a son, Nathan Evol of Terre Haute; and a sister, Christy Daugherty of Terre Haute. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Becky and Angela Daugherty. He was a member of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and visiting with people. A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Saturday in New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 3001 Maple Ave., Terre Haute, with Pastor Kenneth Alkire officiating. A private burial will be in Durham Cemetery. Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
