SHARON - Mrs. Lester Gardner, 78, died Sundat at the Methodist Hospital at Memphis. Services were Monday at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Sidonia. Burial was at Mount Vernon Cemetery with Sharon Funeral Home In charge.

She Leaves three sons, Gilbert Gardner of Sharon, Dr. John E. Gardner of Memphis, and Albert Gardner of Martin; five daughters, Mrs. John C. Gardner of Sharon, Mrs. Glen Winstead of Memphis, Mrs. William Lee of Fayetteville, N.C., Mrs. Tom Kelly of Fulton, Ky., and Mrs. Paul Jarnigan of Union City; six sisters, Mrs. Ralph Gaylord and Mrs. Tom Gaylord both of Sharon, Mrs. Freeman Baldridge of Chicago, Mrs. Romi Anderson of Marton, Mrs. Clarence Tice of Sharon and Mrs. Hall Tice of Memphis.
