Mr. Keith F. Russell, age 84, of Lecanto, Florida, died September 12, 2017 in Lecanto, FL. He was born February 5, 1933 in Lapeer, Michigan, son of the late Earl and Lera (Milligan) Russell.
Mr. Russell was an Army veteran and worked as a Security Guard for the U.S. Government. He moved to Lecanto, Florida from Michigan 44 years ago. He was an educator that taught in both Michigan and Florida. Family describes him as a loving person who enjoyed traveling and reading. Mr. Russell was a member of First Christian Church of Homosassa, Homosassa, FL.
Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Pearl Russell of Lecanto, FL,
2 daughters, Suzanne Swain (John Thompson), and Ruth Powers and her husband John, brother, Kay Russell, sister, Karin Hardy, as well as 5 grandchildren, Tiffany, David, Brittany, Grace, and Michael.
A private service for the family will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery on Friday, September 15, 2017. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial donations to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
