A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11 am at the Christ Lutheran Church, Nashville, TN with Rev. Dr. P. Morgan Gordy officiating.

Place of rest will be at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans

Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church, 299 Haywood Lane, Nashville, TN 37211.

Michael was born August 17, 1960 in Great Falls, Montana. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Masters in Environmental Engineering.

He served his Country in the U.S. Army and TN National Guard from 1979 to 1985. Michael was a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with AMEC Foster Wheeler, Nashville, TN. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Nashville, TN.

Mr. Kerr is survived by his parents, Gene F. Kerr, and Louise Marie Rodenberg Kerr of White Bluff, TN; his 3 sisters, Karen K. Carter (Bill) of Kingston Springs, TN, Lisa M. Bryant (Giles) of Trezevant, TN, and Rebecca L. Kerr of Selmer, TN; his girlfriend, Cecilia Alderman; one niece and one nephew.
