Richard L. 'Dick" Brennan

MOULTON — Funeral for Richard L. “Dick” Brennan, 76, of Moulton, will be Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Moulton Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Reeder officiating and Elliott’s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the church.

Mr. Brennan who died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, was born May 26, 1941, in Illinois to John and Anna T. Brennan. He was a member of Moulton Baptist Church, Vietnam veteran, former owner of Brennan and Son Moving Company, an avid NASCAR fan and a hard worker. He loved to gather at McDonald’s with the breakfast bunch.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Brennan; sons, Brad Brennan and wife, Mandy, and Steve Griffin; daughter, Vicky Grimes and husband, Doyle; brother, Al Brennan; sister, Marge Larson; six grandchildren, Sarai, Khaine, Brooke, Blake, Cody and Holden; four great-grandchildren, Harley, Mckenna, Levi and Rhett.

Family request donations to Moulton Baptist Church in memory of Dick Brennan.

Pallbearers will be Blake Grimes, Cody Grimes, Holden Grimes, Donald Vance, Shawn Turner and John Ahearn. Honorary pallbearers will be Lyndon Blaxton, Larry Lang and his Sunday school class.
