Ware Shoals SC – Mrs. Ruby Hughes Bagwell, 60, widow of Breal Bagwell, died Wednesday [July 2, 1969] at her home on North Greenwood Avenue Extension. She was a native of Anderson County, daughter of the late Thomas and Lizzie Gilmer Hughes. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Lewis Bagwell of Ware Shoals; a daughter, Mrs. Joanna Wright of Ware Shoals; two brothers, Thomas Hughes of Greenwood and Maynor Hughes of Donalds; three sisters, Mrs. Ollie Timmerman of Donalds, Mrs. Berdie Dower of Ware Shoals and Mrs. Pauline Jordan of Lockhart; and three grandchildren.
