Lois Faye Hice Russell, age 74, of Lenoir, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born May 7, 1943 in Caldwell County to the late Fred and Alma Benfield Hice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Russell; six brothers, Paul “Sonny” Cline, James “Buzz” Hice, Larry Hice, Edward Hice, Felix “Buster” Hice, and Ronnie Hice; and four sisters, Ruby Roberts, Audrey Craig, Shirley Hice, and Arlene Bollinger.
Mrs. Russell was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of Bethel Advent Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Gregory A. Russell of Lenoir; two daughters, Donna R. York and husband Kevin of Lenoir and Sonya D. Shell and husband Matt of Hudson; one brother, Donnie Hice and wife Lisa of Lenoir; one sister, Odene Gilley and husband Everett of Lenoir; and four grandchildren, Kathleen Russell, Isaac Shell, Kaitlyn Shell, and Kendyll Shell.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Bethel Advent Christian Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Jerry Burnett and Rev. Jimmy Duffey.
Mrs. Russell was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of Bethel Advent Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Gregory A. Russell of Lenoir; two daughters, Donna R. York and husband Kevin of Lenoir and Sonya D. Shell and husband Matt of Hudson; one brother, Donnie Hice and wife Lisa of Lenoir; one sister, Odene Gilley and husband Everett of Lenoir; and four grandchildren, Kathleen Russell, Isaac Shell, Kaitlyn Shell, and Kendyll Shell.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Bethel Advent Christian Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Jerry Burnett and Rev. Jimmy Duffey.
