He was born on September 26, 1955, in Coffeyville to Terry Ray and Winifred Arlene (Livingston) Neal. Dan grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School.
For many years Dan was employed as a residential and commercial plumber in Tulsa, OK and worked on a pipeline in Corpus Christi, TX., and devoted most of his younger years working for the Neal Masonry family business. He was employed as a Security Guard at Acme Foundry before his passing. Dan was baptized on June 18th and was a member of the First Assembly of God church.
Survivors include three daughters, Ashley Neal of Houston, TX, Chelsea Neal of Los Angeles, CA, and Deidre Neal of Houston, TX, ; three brothers, Noah Neal, Lynn Neal, and Stuart Neal and wife Donna all of Coffeyville; one sister, Sally Neal of Three Rivers, TX; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Winifred Neal; his ex-wife and mother of his three children Evelyn (Prouty) Neal; two brothers, James Howard Neal, and twin brother Donald R. Neal; and two sisters, Jane Kaye Neal and Anna Dene Young.
Following Dan's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service Celebrating Dan's life will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Fairview Cemetery Veterans Memorial Patio with Pastor Randy DePriest officiating. Inurnment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
