Spring Grove, Patricia Ann Kern Lehman Crites, 79, passed away at home, surrounded by her family and entered her eternal home on October 3, 2017.
She was the loving wife of Ralph W. Crites; together they shared over 21 years of marriage. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Pat was born December 19, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Anna (Altland) Kern. She was a life time member of Faith EC Church, Bair Pa. She served as a steward, Sunday school teacher, President of the Missionary Society, President of the CE Society and Lay Delegate for her church. She was involved in CWC of Hanover for several years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Galen Lehman in 1992.
She is survived by her husband Ralph W. Crites. She shared seven children, Thomas Lehman (wife, Carol), Matthew Lehman ( fiancée, Jamie), Gail Wetzel (husband, Roger), Joyce Stambaugh (husband, John), Larry Crites (wife, Diane), Jeff Crites (wife, Sharon), and Dorothy Slagle. She shared 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Thomas E. and Rev. Richard Kern.
A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 12 p.m. at Faith EC Church, 833 Stoverstown Rd York, with the Rev. Michael Campbell officiating.
She will be laid to rest following the service at Christ Roth Cemetery in Spring Grove. Viewings will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, and on Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Faith EC Church 833 Stoverstown Rd York, PA 17408.
