PETERSON-FISHER – Bonnie L. (Horner), 84, Hollsopple, passed away October 1, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born December 30, 1932 in Jennerstown. Daughter of Eugene W. and Pearl C. (Friedline) Horner. Preceded in death by parents, first husband Ray E. Peterson and step-brother Letcher Shank. Survived by husband of 24 years William B. Fisher; sons Jerry Peterson and life partner Margie Persuhn, Stoystown and Terry Peterson married to Deborah (Shroyer), Boswell; daughter-in-law Royell Peterson, Boswell; step-children Dr. Deborah Menzie, Johnstown and Thomas Fisher married to Deborah (Murphy), Hollsopple; grandchildren Aaron Peterson and wife Ashley, Cole Peterson and wife Nicole and Brock Peterson; Wesley, Tessa and Cassandra Peterson; Danielle, Bradley and Katie Fisher and Amanda Roth; great-grandchildren Mercedes, Harper and Rhys; sister Anjean married to Warren “Tucker” Beener, Hollsopple; step-sister LuAnn Gore, Boswell and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1950 graduate of J.B.J. Joint High School. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown. Former secretary for Jenner Township Sewer Authority for over 15 years and waitress for Green Gables Restaurant, Jennerstown. She enjoyed playing cards and swimming, even though she couldn’t swim. She was also a very good cook and candy maker. Bonnie especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10AM until time of service 11AM Wednesday at Laurel Trinity Church with Pastor Robert G. Kaltenbaugh and Pastor Michael A. Dunlap presiding. Interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
