Dennis Doyle Brock, 61, a native of Lubbock, and current resident of Prattville, Ala., died peacefully at home on Thursday, October 1, 2009, after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Faith Bible Church in Prattville, Ala., with Pastor Shaun Richard officiating.
Mr. Brock was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. He honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. At the time of his death, he was employed with Wal-Mart Transportation in Brookhaven, Miss.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Angel Brock. He is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years, Debbie Bowling Brock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Denise Brock, Brian and Sonya Brock; four grandchildren, Emily Brock, Kelsey Brock, Kyle Brock, and Zachary Brock; two sisters, Charolett Burns and Victoria Farr; several extended family members and numerous friends, including his faithful little "Schatzi Ann."
