Vera Mae Porter
The Angel of death has visited the Felder Family once again and has taken from our mist our beloved Vera Mae Felder Porter. Vera was the daughter of the late Mr. Willie Thomas and Ms. Vernia Mae Felder Brown.
Vera was born in McComb, MS on July 24, 1960. She moved to Moss Point, MS in 1973. There she was united in Holy Matrimony with the late Raymond Porter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Porter; her parents, one special aunt, Rosa Ross. She was a long and devoted mother to two sons and friend to all.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two sons, Antowin V. Porter, Tacarro D. (Latasha) Porter both of Pascagoula, MS; two sisters, Charlette (Terry, Sr.) Willis of Moss Point, MS, Mary (Kessie, Jr.) Steward, Pascagoula, MS; one brother, Kelvin D. (Chavone) Felder of Pascagoula, MS; three grandchildren, Ny’Asia Patterson, April Sipp and Tacarriona Porter of Pascagoula, MS; one grandson, Tacarro D. Porter, Jr., of Pascagoula, MS; a devoted cousin, Shonta Atkins of Atlanta, GA; two loving and devoted friends, Lana Nelson and Theresa Magee both of Moss Point, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
