WILMINGTON—Joyce M. Miner, of Wilmington, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet, Il. She was born May 5, 1944 in Joliet, Il to Orin and Florence Brown.
Joyce was a forever loving wife, an avid music listener, a nurturing, caring and loving grandma, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Miner, of Wilmington, ; her granddaughter, Kiara Miner, of Coal City; one brother, James Brown, of Wilmington; nephew, Jimmy (Traci) Brown, of Oswego, Il; cousin, Margaret Woodside, of Wilmington and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Miner; her parents, Orin and Florence (nee Sampson) Brown; two brothers-in-law, Raymond and Fred Miner and two sisters-in-law, Beverly Krizmanic and Jean (Marlin) Krause.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St., Joliet from 5 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, Joliet.
