Lance Brown, age 73, of Cantonment, FL passed away on October 1, 2017.
Lance was a retired Marine Lt. Colonel who proudly served his country for 27 years. He served in Vietnam, as well as various Operational and Training Commands throughout his career. Notably he served as a MARINE ONE pilot for President’s Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan from 1977 to 1981.
Lance is preceded in death by his son, John Lancelot Brown, Jr. and his parents, James Elwin Brown and Edna Pope Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bobbie Forehand Brown; son, Jeffrey Brown and his wife Susan; daughter, Patricia Hebert and her husband Derek; grandchildren, Brett, Bradley and Victoria Brown; former son-in-law, Kevin Brown and two brothers, Jim and Gaylain Brown and brother-in-law, Ray Forehand and his wife Crystal.
Visitation will take place Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Faith Chapel South from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Chapel South with interment to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12 noon.
