Patricia Anne (Thomas) Drennan, 67, of Scott Depot passed away at Thomas Memorial Hospital on Nov. 8, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. She was born in Charleston on Oct. 17, 1944, and was a daughter of the late Oscar Milton and the late Mary Argutha Whittington Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Emmett George Drennan; sister, Mary K. Thomas; brother, Richard E. Thomas; sister-in-law, Deborah Thomas; sister-in-law, Eunice Thomas; and brother-in-law, Charlie Jividen. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School with the class of 1963 and Appalachian Bible College with the class of 1966. A 52-year member of Twin City Bible Church, she helped write the church bylaws, was a member of the choir and taught the children's choir for many years. Surviving: sons, Mark (Sarah) of Hurricane and Eric (Melissa) of Nitro; grandsons, Alec, Jacob and Connor; sisters, Roberta Jividen of Nitro and Barbara (Ray) Floren of Dunbar; brothers, Milton Dean (Robin) Thomas of Charleston and Daniel Eugene Thomas of Medina, Ohio; sister-in-law, Sharon Thomas of Hurricane.
