Jacqueline Jean Collins, 77, of Mount Carmel, IL formerly of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Oakview Heights Continuous Care and Rehab.

Jacque was born on August 26, 1939 in Mount Carmel the daughter of Joseph J. and Virginia (Strine) Nagy, Jr. Jacque married Donald R. Holcomb and later married Joseph Collins on April 16, 1983 and he preceded her in death on February 4, 2017.

Jacque will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was born and raised in Mount Carmel and graduated from Mount Carmel High School Class of 1956.

She was a fifteen year member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Int’l where she made many friendships. Jacque first joined Gamma Pi Chapter of Indianapolis and in 2015 became a charter member of Omega Chi Charter of Plainfield, IN.

Jacque had moved to Indianapolis and during her working career, she spent several years managing large apartment complexes. Among her hobbies she enjoyed reading, playing golf and decorating. While in Indianapolis Jacque attended Crosspointe Baptist Church and Christian Academy. Jacque attended Community Church of God in Mount Carmel.

Jacque will be remembered by her daughters, Cathy (Holcomb) Ile and husband Curtis of Mount Carmel; Riki Good of Indianapolis, IN and Rudy Hanna of New Castle, IN; sons, Joseph Collins of Palm Coast, FL and Randy Collins of Indianapolis, IN; aunt, Shirley Chapman; grandchildren, Michael (Brooke) Ile, Steven (Sarah) Ile all of Mount Carmel, Sami Good and Jeffery Good of Indianapolis, IN, Jacob and Kenny Hanna of New Castle, IN; thirteen great grandchildren; niece, Jeannine Aleman of Mount Carmel; and sister in law, Wanda Moneymaker of Indianapolis, IN.

Jacque was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jason Ile; her first husband, Donald R. Holcomb; and sister, Virginia Williams.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., June 22, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Freels officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mount Carmel.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jacque’s memory to Wabash County Animal Shelter Buddies, 11336 N. 1550 Blvd, Mount Carmel, IL 62863. Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
