'Rose B. Ferreira. May 2, 1909 - Jan 1, 2004 Rose Ferreira's life ended peacefully New Years Day in Walnut Creek. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1989, and her son, Larry in 1994. She is survived by her son, Robert, daughter-in-law, and children and grandchildren as well as many other nieces, nephews and family members. Rose was a native of Danville, one of eleven children. Rose received a diploma when she was 81 from San Ramon High School. She was active in the Historical Society. Her quilt she made depicting farm life in the Tassajara Valley has been featured at the Danville Museum. Rose and Joe founded and operated the Two Pine Nursery on Diablo Road for many years. She spent time touring school children through historical sites in Danville. Thank you to Manor Care Tice Valley Arcadia Unit for the loving professional care given to Rose. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, January 6, 2004, 3 pm - 7 pm at Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon Valley. A Celebration of Rose's Life will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2004, 11 am at St. Isadore's Catholic Church, in Danville. Interment private.' Genealogybank.com, Rose B.
