Lori V. Short Bartlett, 48, passed away suddenly in her sleep at home 2 Apr 2014. She was born 28 Jan 1965 a daughter of David and Iris Thompson Short.

She marries Kelly Bartlett 12 Dec 1987 in Elko, Nevada. They had three children. She graduated from high school in 1988 and went on to further her education graduating from Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1993; she went further and graduated from MTA Truck Driver School and received her CDL with Hazmat Certification in 1998.

Lori worked different jobs during her career including; restaurants, nursing homes, Davis County Aging, over-the-road semi driving where she was able to visit (at least drive through) all 48 continental United States. Lori was presently employed by the Davis County School District as a school bus driver for special needs students whom she loved. She spoke about how good they were every day when she came home from work.

Lori was the most wonderful and excellent wife, partner and mother that any person could have wished for and will be greatly missed.
