Amy Dawn Webb, age 41, of the Brumley Gap community in Abingdon, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born August 21, 1976, in Washington County, Va., and had lived in the area her entire life. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Louis Camper; one brother, Howard J. Cannon and her maternal grandmother, Viola Price.

Amy was a devoted wife, mother, sister and dear friend to many. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, but most especially with her boys who were the light of her world.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Webb; two sons, Gage Webb (Alex VanHoy) and Jacob Webb; her mother, Francis B. Price Cook of Abingdon; one sister, Joyce M. Cannon of Abingdon; one brother, David A. Cannon of Abingdon; her mother-in-law, Shirley (Mrs. Carl Jack) Webb Dale of Abingdon; several nieces and nephews including one very special great niece, Jaidyn Cannon. She is also survived by numerous extended family and many friends.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the love and care shown to Amy by her caregivers, Freda Gill, Joyce Cannon, Sarah Webb and Donna Webb. Also words cannot express the gratitude expressed to all those in the community and surrounding areas who helped support Amy and the family during this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Arnold and Pastor Adam Wise officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery in Brumley Gap. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Andy Webb, Tracy Wise, Skylar Gill, Brad White, Chad Gill, Dave Cannon, Jr., Terry Crusenberry, Kelly Groseclose, Sr. and Kelly Groseclose, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Webb, Glen Webb, Brad Webb, Jeff Webb and David Cannon.
