A native of Chartierville, Canada, Mr. Croteau was the son of the late Frederick Napolean and Marie Rose Antoinette Dubois Croteau and was married to the late Hideyo Suzuki Croteau. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a carpenter. Mr. Croteau was a member of Midway United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Croteau.
Survivors include his children, Joseph (Scarlett) Croteau of Palm Springs, FL, James (Sharon) Croteau of Alliance, OH, Susan (Scott) Geissinger of Hawkinsville and Joyce (Kevin) Quinn of Stuart, FL; sisters, Vivian (Elvin) Dover of McRae and Brenda Teaque of Piney Flatts, TN; grandchildren, Monique Croteau, Nicole Croteau, Scott Bartels, Tiffany Hedler, Austin Croteau, Jason Geissinger, Robert Geissinger and Rebecca Geissinger and several great-grandchildren.
