Fred William Stephens, age 64 of Winfield, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Big South Fork Medical Center. He was born January 1, 1953 to the late Edward and Dorthy Daugherty Stephens of Winfield.
Fred was a member of Winfield Baptist Church, where he enjoyed helping as much as he was able. Fred was a Sawyer for many years.
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by grandparents, Culture and Allie Childers Daugherty and Jerry and Mary Stephens; brother, Fos Stephens; sister, Doris Martin; niece, Terri Stephens; nephew, Phillip Stephens; mother and father in law, Opalene and Carthell Stephens; five special aunts, Dora Strunk, Ruth Chitwood, Orphie Stephens, Velma Stephens, and Zola Crabtree; five uncles, Earl, Jr., Paul, Milford and Silas; special cousin by marriage, Eddie Stephens.
