Sherry Harmon nee Wilson passed away in her home at the age of 84, succumbing to Breast Cancer. She is survived by her husband; three children and their families.
Sherry was born in Bend. She traveled extensively with her family during her childhood years, eventually settling in Sutherlin, Ore. She attended and graduated from High School there. After high school, she was employed in a variety of jobs and used her free time to travel and to explore the U.S. Sherry eventually settled in Portland, where she met and married Clyde A. Harmon Jr., a union that lasted 55 years. Sherry enjoyed reading, cooking, and collecting Dragons.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m., Oct. 6, 2017, at Willamette National Cemetery.
