Sidney "Pete" Warren Garrett, 84, passed away surrounded by family on July 3, 2019. Born June 15, 1935, Pete was raised in Jasper, Alabama. He graduated from The University of Alabama and started working for NASA in 1958. He was a member of Weatherly Heights Baptist Church He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Owen Garrett, father Ira Allen Garrett, mother Oleta Southerland Garrett, and brother Richard Allen Garrett.
