Danny Luther "Boone" Bailey, 54, of Glen Fork, WV departed this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 8, 1963 in Mullens, WV a son of the late Luther Bailey (Deceased) and Wrena Elswick-Bailey (1937-2014).
Danny was a certified welder and an expert in the welding field. He is a 1981 graduate of Glen Rogers High School and the Wyoming Vocational Center.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Drema Sue Bailey-Pauley (1961-1997); paternal grandparents, Wilburn Bailey (Deceased) and Ollie Bailey (Deceased); and maternal grandmother, Lorena "Mamous" Elswick-Greer (1920-1995).
Those left to celebrate his life are his daughter Tiffany Lynn Bailey-Rollins & Christopher Rollins of Wyoming; granddaughter Carlee Grace Rollins; companion Carol Tilley and her daughter Erica Tilley of Glen Fork; five sisters Sharon Bailey-Walls & J.D. Walls of Beckley, Marilyn Bailey-Mosley & Roy Mosley of Glen Rogers, Katherine Bailey-Workman & Danny Workman of Cyclone, Cherry Bailey-Bailes & Robert Bailes of Beckley and Tina Bailey-Fitzpatrick & Jon Fitzpatrick of Beckley; special friend and caretaker, Tommy Joe Brown of Glen Fork; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Cecil Thompson and Rev. J.D. Walls officiating. He will be laid to rest in Glen Fork Community Cemetery, Glen Fork, WV.
