Hazel Annette "Ann" Howell
1940 - 2017
Hazel Annette Howell, (Ann), 76, of Bonifay, Florida, went to be with her heavenly Father on September 29, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She leaves behind a loving husband of 59 years, Bobby D. Howell. She is preceded in death by her parents, Monette Payne and Hubert Payne and beloved son Michael R. Howell. She left behind three sons and daughter-in-laws, Rob, Jeff and DD, Tammy and Kevin and Becky Howell, along with her precious grandchildren, Brian, Dylan, Hayley, Izzy, Kaitlyn and Cameron along with several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Ann was a proud Air Force wife who spent 22 years raising their four children. She was also a Christian mother, wife and friend who was loved by many. She traveled the world with her loving husband and lived a wonderful life. She grew up an only child but was never alone. Married the love of her life after high school and spent over 59 years raising their family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at 4:00 pm and funeral service will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 1100am. Pall Bearers will be Rob, Jeff, Kevin, Brian, Dylan and Cameron Howell. The family request that in lieu of flowers to please donate to Convenant Hospice or the Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for their excellent care and compassion, especially Ms. Becky, Ms. Kristin, Ms. Lelia and the other nice employees that made the experience peaceful.
