First wife of Judge Benjamin Isbell.
Shown as M.C. Isbell on the 1860 census.
Apparently no marker survives, if ever erected, but thought to be buried by her parents and two children who predeceased her at Gum Springs Cemetery.

She died in childbirth or soon after. Her children:
Martha B. Isbell (1860-),
Frances "Fannie" Isbell Caldwell (1862-1943)
Benny L Isbell (1864-69)
Robert J Isbell (1867-1867)
Alice Isbell (1869-).

An unsourced family tree shows Benjamin Isbell married a second wife 22 Jan 1870 in Searcy, White Co., AR. (name not shown), and no wife shown on the 1870 Census (June). A marriage on 22 January 1870 has not been verified.

He married his next wife Ella G. Murphy 20 Sep 1870 White Co, Ar.
