Richard was born October 23, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Margaret Willard. He was known as a great friend that always wore his heart on his sleeve. Richard was a diehard NASCAR fan. He enjoyed music, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his friends and family.
Richard is survived by his siblings Petty (Rick) Thomason, Roxanne Hughes, William (Michelle) Willard, Tena (Timothy) Roper, Victoria (Brian) Turnbow and Jeff Willard; cousin Eddie Stevens and many nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
