Norman R. Sanders, age 79 of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Alexandria Care Center following an extended battle with many health complications. He was born on July 13, 1938 in Elwood, the son of Richard A. and Dorothy M. (Heater) Sanders. Norm worked at Delco-Remy Division of GM for over 30 years before his retirement in 1992 and was a member of the United Auto Workers #662. He strongly believed in being involved in his community. He attended Frankton High School, and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force following the Korean War. He liked to go hunting, and was known for his ability to embellish any story- which fit well with his hobby of fishing as his favorite personal getaway time.
