Anthropologist. Anthony F. C. Wallace was a Canadian American anthropologist who specialized in research on Native Americans, especially the Iroquois. He examined the intersection of cultural anthropology and psychology. Wallace is famous for his Revitalization Movement Theory which sought to explain the origins of religious and political movements like the Longhouse Religion. Among his many publications is The Death and Rebirth of the Seneca.
