Patricia (Pat) Lehman, 78 of Rehoboth, Delaware passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2017 at her home.
Patricia was born in Greenville on the Winterthur property, the daughter of the late Irene (Fish) and Selby Jarmon. She was a graduate of Newark High School, attended the University of Delaware, and owned and operated the Sunnyside School in Newark, Delaware for over 32 years where she also taught kindergarten. She was also a member of the Wilmington Junior League. Her hobbies included cooking, golf, wind surfing, and reading.
Left to cherish Pat's memory are her husband of 58 years, Joseph J. Lehman; her sons and daughters-in-laws, Breck and Michele of Newark and Joel M. and Julie of Silver Spring, Maryland; her loving grandchildren, Schuyler, Regan and Peyton; her brother and sister-in-law, George and Jonna Jarmon of Dover, Delaware; and her beloved dog, Henri.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 PM at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, where friends may call after 12:30 PM. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Delaware SPCA, 455 Stanton Christiana Rd, Newark, DE 19713.
