Robert B. “Bob” Arnold, 86, Amity, Missouri, passed away Friday September 29, 2017 at his home.
He was born April 17, 1931 in San Francisco, CA to Con and Leila (Heriford) Arnold.
Bob married Bettie R. Harris July 13, 1953.
Bob worked at various barbershops throughout California and retired in 1988 as owner and operator of Chris’s barbershop in Concord, CA. He later worked at the auction house in Elwood.
Bob enjoyed working outdoors, especially mowing the yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Albers; and granddaughter, Jennifer Skelton.
Survivors include wife of 64 years, Bettie; children, Sherri Day, Terie Nichols, Michael Arnold, and Timothy Arnold (Kari); 7 grandchildren, Jeff Nichols (Robin), Jessica, Nichelle and Matthew Nichols, Anthony Skelton, Victor Arnold; 6 great-grandchildren, Houston, Blake, Spencer, Riley, Julian, and Jaxon; and sister, Jean Hile.
