Germantown, TN - Marjorie 'Margie' Augusta Anne Glover Daniels, age 70, passed away on September 27, 2017 in Shelby County, Tennessee. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the eldest of three children born to James Terrell Glover and Violet Pauline Whatley Glover. Margie was a devoted genealogist and loved discovering the history of both her own family and others. She was a proud member of the The National Society of Colonial Dames XVII Century, Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the United States Daughters of the Eighteen Hundred and Twelve. She will be remembered most of all for the indescribable devotion, compassion, and love she had for those she loved. Margie was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Jennifer. She is survived by her husband, James Daniels, Sr.; three sons: Jerry Cook, Lawrence Joshlin and wife Lisa, James Daniels, II, and wife Teri; nine grandchildren: Jessica Vicknair and husband John, Kelly Joshlin, Laura Joshlin, Justin Joshlin, Jerry "JT" Cook, Julia Cook, Johnni Cook, Samantha Daniels, and James 'Nick' Daniels; two sisters: Teri Hopper, Marsha Reese; 6 great-grandchildren and many many others that she loved dearly. The family welcomes friends for visitation on Sunday, October 1 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave., Memphis.
