Janet C. Butler, age 97, of Downers Grove. Beloved wife of the late Spencer. Loving mother of Spencer Jr. (Susan), Nancy (Lawrence) Keillor, Robert (Debra), Richard (Mary), Sandra (John) Rushing, Susan, the late Ann (Merlin) Hunt and the late William. Devoted grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 27. Devoted sister of Joseph (Jean) Claar, Margery (Tom) Sidey, the late Eunice (Richard) Todd and the late Phillip (Becky) Claar. Dear friend to many. Visitation 3-8pm Friday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove, where funeral service will be held 11am Saturday. Interment private.
