Cecil Ray Edwards, age 82, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at Kitty Atkins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC.

Cecil was born in Duplin County September 6, 1928 to Charles Ruffin and Flora Shivar Edwards.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lura Jean Shaw Edwards and a son Royden Keith Edwards.

Cecil is survived by daughters Fay Sweat, Annette Brown, Sharon Jackson, Vicki Jones, and Karen Dillard, a sister Inez Lewis and brothers Charles, Donald and Landon Edwards, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
