Bernice L. Guldeman, 86, passed away Monday, May 30, 2005, at the Hospice Care Center. She was born in Granger Township and resided in Wadsworth since 1945. She was a stitcher at the Ohio Match Co., retiring in 1984 with 39 years of service. She also was a crossing guard with Wadsworth City Schools for 13 years. Miss Guldeman was a member of Wadsworth First Church of the Nazarene and the Ohio Match 20 year Club. She is survived by her sisters, Isabelle Burkett of Wadsworth and Anna Merckle of Sardis, Ohio; special friends, John and Peggy Light of Barberton; and many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Effie Houck Guldeman; sisters, Bertha O'Higgins and Helen Sommers; and brothers, Forest, Frank and Richard Guldeman. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Wadsworth First Church of the Nazarene, 743 Hight St. The Rev. Stanley A. Ward will officiate. Interment: Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina. Visiting hours: 6 to 9 p. m. Friday at Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth.
