He married Rita Gage in 2003. He worked for Big Industrial; for Action Riggins in Austin, owned Davontes Club in Taylor, and a professional DJ for many years. He was a member of the Bushwackers Pool Team.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Fields of Taylor; sons, Willie Fields Jr. of Manor, Archie Fields and James Fields of Austin, and Richard Reyes of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughters, Deloris Fields and Anica Reyes of Taylor, Katrina Jones and Ashley Reyes of Temple, and Jessica Reyes of Elgin; brothers, David Fields of Taylor and Paul Trejo of Bartlett; sisters, Ella Fields and Lanell Mitchell of Taylor, Whizzer Bell of Austin, Ruthie Rivera of Round Rock, Ruby McConville of Killeen, and Sharon Harrell of Temple; 10grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
